A sweet new year
starts at the door.
Yom Kippur is here, the holiest day of the year. Every student who walks through our door this year is starting a new chapter, and your gift is what greets them: a warm welcome, a seat at the table, a place to call home. We can't open the door without you.
I had a place long before I felt like I earned one. Now, starting my second year, I get to be on the other side of that welcome.

That every week the school I go to has a safe space for me to be welcomed, loved, and part of something far bigger than myself, a community.

The Caring Wall
With gratitude to those who opened the door for our students this year.
...and those who donate lamps for lighting, wine for Kiddush and Havdalah, food for wayfarers... and those who occupy themselves with the needs of the community, in a faithful manner, may G-d pay them their reward, remove from them all sickness, heal their entire body, pardon all their mistakes, and send blessing, and success upon their every endeavor, together with all of Israel, their brethren, and let us say, Amen.

Thank you.
From our family to yours: thank you for being part of this. Every gift, no matter the size, is the reason we can keep the door open every Friday night.
